Here is the recent history, so you know the details.
Purchased vehicle Nov 2022, noticed gearchange was a little hesitant so had it diagnosed. Report was plastic parts within clutches had gone brittle and broken, then chewed by gears into the oil which then led to poor changes from the solenoids.
So paid 2600 for gearbox to be removed, new clutches fitted and new oil in Feb 2023. Worked well with smooth gearchanges.
In July 2023 started to get erratic gearchanges again, and then a breakdown with "transmission malfunction". Recovered to transmission specialist Oakdene Nottingham. They found a poor battery, replaced it and reprogrammed the gearbox and all was well.
Feb 2024 started to get erratic changes again, although it was reliable otherwise. Oakdene say the gearbox is not at fault.
Now i get a total failure with the message 'limited transmission function', with no drive.
The rest of the vehicle works perfectly, diesel engine good and strong (43 MPG) and all other electrics work well.
