Here's the new M3 (E62). The first time a M3 has a V8. This one in the new M3 has 420 bhp and does 0-60 in 4.8s. As always BMW do not just add a bigger engines to their M-series cars, so the new M3 has a race tuned chassis and suspension.

Looks wise, it portrays power without over the top spoilers and skirts, so the 40-plus owners would still feel comfortable, rather than stupid in one of these, when driving to their next business meeting.

Being an M3 lover for many years, this version will hopefully live up to it pedigree.

Wow an all-round desirable M3. For once it seems that BMW design have outdone BMW Engineering. It reminds me of the muscle cars of yester-year, which is a good thing.

Saw a video of this on youtube, where the new M3 is driven on a long winding road. It sticks to the road like glue at what seemed like fairly high speeds. Its also sounds very sweet. I'll post a link when I get a chance.
