Aston Martin DBS

Submitted by S J Massey (Rating: 4)

First seen on James Bond's Casino Royale, th DBS is probably the best looking Aston Martin yet. The new coupe is about an inch lower and slightly wider than the DB9. Carbon-fibre has been extensively used in its construction and thus sharing the same basic architecture as Aston's other cars, though the DBS weighs less at 1695kg,

The Aston Martin's DBS hand-built engine is a 6 litre V12, outputing 510bhp, with 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and a 191mph top speed. Though it does not top the 200mph of the Vantage, the DBS has been developed with a sharper focus on the driving experience.

Deliveries of the DBS are expected to commence early next year, with prices to be confirmed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2007.

Looked great in the Bond Movie and I think it will look just as good on the road. This the first new car from the Ford stable since they bought Aston Martin, so well done on them.

This must be one of the most wanted cars in the world today. Aston Martin just know how to make super cars that are styled for men rather than boys.
