Many people are not aware of how valuable businesses like this are, as some are currently worth up to four billion pounds.

It is estimated that this business could explode in a matter of ten years, to be worth a huge forty four billion pound industry. The CEO indicates that because of the demand for lithium batteries, the technology behind them could see massive improvements. The company that he is talking about has already made huge improvements in lithium battery technology. Currently, they can create a single cell battery that is a massive thirty times more powerful than a laptop battery. This means that less batteries would be required to power the car.

Of course, as the industry expands, batteries will become more compact and also more cost effective in order to convince more people to use electric vehicles. Of course, maor electricity companies will be thinking about trying to sell a lot more than they do, and electric cars provide a great way of soaking up extra electricity. This, in turn, means more business for cafes and coffee shops, as more people will become customers whilst their cars are charging their batteries.

With all this in mind, it strongly indicates that electric technology is going to become more advanced, and more cost effective. If car manufacturers are panning on meeting their targets when it comes to environmentally friendly models, then this is the only way that they are going to be able to do it. Will we all go electric?
